Woman Quits Job At LinkedIn To Travel The World Full-Time


Aakanksha Monga made a bold decision in 2022 by quitting her job at LinkedIn to pursue her passion for travelling and content creation. In a tweet from a year ago, she announced her intentions to focus on her passions and travel the world full-time. Since then, Monga’s Instagram community has grown significantly from 250K to 700K followers in just one year.She has travelled to 12 different countries, with eight being solo trips, and has collaborated with over 30 brands while posting over 300 videos on her platform. Monga has built a team of six people currently working on TravelAMore. Despite her accomplishments, Monga has been honest about experiencing burnout and long work hours.

Nevertheless, the importance of following one’s truth remains paramount in Monga’s journey, which serves as an inspiration to many. One of her tweets received over 1.98 lakh views, with many netizens congratulating her and encouraging others to pursue their passions to create a fulfilling career.

Akansha Monga since then has uploaded several videos of her travels on her social media profiles. Recently she posted a video of her hiking to see a traditional missing tribe house in Majuli. They explore the process of establishing a new village from scratch and discuss the challenges of living in an impermanent environment. They visit houses, witness the use of natural resources for tattoos and medicinal purposes, and participate in activities like potato digging and cooking.
