“DC’s Stargirl”: The superhero series comes back for a second season. (8 p.m. Tuesday, The CW)

“Fantasy Island”: Yet another reboot, this new series stars Roselyn Sanchez as what’s described as a descendant of Ricardo Montalban’s character in the original. The setting is again a luxury resort, where the guests turn up with their own fantasies. (9 p.m. Tuesday, Fox)

“Riverdale”: The drama returns from hiatus, to continue Season 5. (8 p.m. Wednesday, The CW)

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”: The durable police comedy finally returns for its eighth and final season. (8 p.m. Thursday, NBC)


“Reservation Dogs”: A comedy co-created by Taika Waititi, about Native teenagers in rural Oklahoma who commit various crimes to try and get money to move to California. (Available to stream beginning Monday, FX on Hulu)

“Star Trek: Lower Decks”: The animated series returns for Season 2. (Available to stream beginning Thursday, Paramount + )
