Stefanos Tsitsipas showcases his athleticism, jumps over a drone during training session

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas’ recently showcased his athleticism by playing with a drone during a training session. The video, shared by the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, shows Tsitsipas getting ready for a training session and appearing to be distracted by a drone nearby.

Without wasting any time, Stefanos Tsitsipas asks a person, presumably a drone pilot, if he can jump over the drone and proceeds to run and jump over it as the drone flies at a low level.

The Mouratoglou Tennis Academy shared the video on Instagram, tagging Tsitsipas and captioning the post:

“I *hear* it, I like it, I want it, I got it 🫣.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas missed a slew of tournaments after sustaining a shoulder injury at the Australian Open and competing at the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam. He, however, lost to Jannik Sinner 4-6, 3-6 in the round-of-16 to draw curtains in Rotterdam. Tsitsipas later withdrew from the Mexican Open as he was not completely fit.

Stefanos Tsitsipas opens up about life outside tennis

The Greek, currently ranked third in the ATP rankings, has shown a lot of interest in various hobbies outside of tennis. He has shown a keen interest in filmmaking and music, both hobbies that he has actively taken up.

Expressing his views on his life outside of tennis, in a recent video shared by the ATP, Tsitsipas said that he has ‘fear of missing out’ and thus wants to make the most out of his life experiences.

“I don’t want to waste a single day of my life being stagnant or staying still and not elevating myself through experiences,” Tsitsipas revealed. “I have a fear of missing out and I don’t want people to know me only for my tennis.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas firmly believes that success involves being able to have a bigger impact on the world.

“Life is about adventures, life is about creating beautiful memories. I want to have a broader, bigger impact than just tennis,” he added.

The 24-year-old also expressed his desire to venture into filmmaking in the future and has already released a music album of his own. He highlighted filmmaking and music among his biggest interests outside of tennis and said that music allowed him to convey something different.

“I have explored filmmaking part of what I’m capable of and what stories I want to tell, and music allowed me to express something else,” Tsitsipas added.
