It’s time for MuggleNet’s latest Social Media Roundup! In the past two weeks, our Wizarding World alumni have graced social media with adorable dog photos, exciting glimpses at upcoming projects, and even some silly pranks.
In recent social media posts, several Harry Potter stars illustrated their love for animals. Tom Felton shared several posts of his adorable dog, Willow, on Instagram. In a sweet video, Tom teaches Willow how to fetch in the water. Willow proves to be quite a talented swimmer!
It seems that puppy love is in the air, as Tom also posted a photo of Willow with another dog, adorably captioned, “Willow has a bf x.”
Bonnie Wright also showed off her beloved pet on social media with a new photo. She posed with her dog at Big Bear Lake in California for a precious snap shared via Instagram.
James Phelps (Fred Weasley) showcased his love for animals with a snap taken during a bike ride, where he found some horses along his route. Naturally, he was sure to snap the perfect photo for Instagram.
In addition to his bike ride, James also shared photos from his 5K in South Beach, Florida. James included a slideshow of a few gorgeous photos of the area.
A few Wizarding World alumni took to social media to promote their latest work endeavors. Katie Leung (Cho Chang) recently shared a snippet from the audiobook of Complicit, by Winnie M Li, which Leung narrates. Leung praised the novel in her caption, writing that Complicit is “a brilliant book by a brilliant writer.”
Fantastic Beasts actress Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) treated her followers to a behind-the-scenes look at the music video for “Meteor Shower,” her latest single off her upcoming album, Still Come the Night, which is set to be released on September 30.
Jamie Campbell Bower (young Gellert Grindelwald) similarly shared some behind-the-scenes footage from his work on Stranger Things. A video shared by the actor features Bower, his costars, the show’s cocreators, and members of the creative team behind the series as they reveal the work behind creating Bower’s character.
James Payton (Frank Longbottom) continued the behind-the-scenes trend with a post giving fans “a sneaky gander” at his character in his upcoming short film, I’m Going to Give You a Ticket.
Tom Felton, however, proved that it’s not all work and no play for our favorite Wizarding World alumni. In a hilarious video, Felton is pranked by a friend. (Warning: This video contains explicit language.)
Finally, Asfhan Azad-Kazi (Padma Patil) celebrated a big milestone for her family, sharing a sweet photo of her daughter, Kyra, celebrating her first birthday. The birthday girl looked precious in a pink tutu as she enjoyed a pink flower cake.
