Different sex hacks have been going viral on TikTok. Now sexperts have revealed the ones that actually work (stock image)

1. Mascara wand

According to the sexperts, the ‘mascara wand’ hashtag has been dominating TiKTok with 33.2 million views.

The explain: ‘TikTokers are using the word for something much more raunchy as a phrase to talk publicly about their sex life.

‘[They] are discussing their past and current relationships using the hashtag, to share cryptic stories about their boyfriends, their sexual preferences, and even vibrators.’

2. Coconut challenge

The ‘coconut challenge’ is a trend where you spell out the word ‘coconut’ with your hips while a woman is on top during sex to give your partner maximum pleasure, according to the sexperts.

‘It is unclear how spelling out coconut would be beneficial when you are on top during sex, perhaps it helps with rhythm and pleasure, but it is not necessary for a successful sexual experience,’ they add.

Although this trend has nothing to do with coconuts, they believe it has been popularised thanks to an old clip of Cardi B from 2020 that has blown up on the platform with over 4 million views.

3. Four-minute foreplay

This next TikTok tip suggests setting a four-minute timer where you take turns with your partner and have 4 minutes each to spice up foreplay and please each other.

‘Four minutes of foreplay can be beneficial because it gives both partners time to become aroused and can help to reduce the risk of premature ejaculation,’ say the sexperts.

‘Additionally, it can help to build anticipation and excitement and can help partners to connect emotionally and physically.’

Following some of these tips may improve your sex life, according to the experts who listed their favourite viral TikTok hacks (stock image)

4. Sex hand trick

The sex hand trick, which was shared in a video posted by sex advice TikToker Nurse Ria, works on the premise that  pressing down on a woman’s stomach during sex can help stimulate the G-spot.

The sexperts said: ‘As the G-spot is located on the front wall of the vagina, approximately two to three inches in, applying pressure to this area can help to stimulate the nerve endings and increase pleasure for the woman.

‘Using the pad of your finger, press gently but firmly downward in a “come hither” motion.’

Among the hacks on the list were the coconut challenge, the sex pillow hack, and the 4-minute foreplay technique among others (stock image)

5. Sex pillow hack

This hack – which has gained over 26 million views on TikTok – involves ‘putting a pillow under the woman’s pelvis in order to increase pleasure, enabling the pelvis to be tilted up and therefore allowing more access to the G-spot’.

‘This hack can be particularly helpful in certain positions such as any involving lying down as this will tilt the body higher for easier penetration,’ say the sexperts.

6. Tantric sex

The hashtag ‘#tantric’ has 38.9 million views. According to the sexperts, this refers to ‘a form of sexual meditation in which partners are encouraged to explore their deepest sensations during sex’.

They add that many couples practice tantric sex to feel connected to their partner on a higher level.

‘Tantric techniques help to form a close, intimate connection either to your partner or to yourself that’s both intense and enlightened. But don’t assume it’ll help you orgasm,’ according to the experts.
