New Metro Art on TAP cards featuring rider portraits are now available!

The final summer release of three limited-edition Metro Art on TAP cards are now available at select stations and Customer Centers this week. The cards feature artworks commissioned by Metro Art for our rider portraits series.

Pick up a card and ride the Metro Art Bus this weekend! Hint: use the new Metro Art Bus live map tracker to find the bus that’s closest to you.

The three new Art on TAP cards are Memory and Perspective by José M. Loza, Vovó Santinha by Cat Ferraz, and Wall of Concrete by Kristina Ambriz.

As with previous rounds of Art on TAP cards by Metro Art released in June and late July, the portraits evoke the universal stories of riders on our transit system. The rider portraits are also featured on the Metro Art Bus, on digital screens installed at A Line (Blue) and E Line (Expo) stations and in the Union Station Passageway Art Gallery as part of the multi-site exhibition We Are…Portraits of Metro Riders by Local Artists.

These Art on TAP cards are now available at Customer Centers and TAP vending machines (TVMs) at the locations listed below. Be sure to check the header above the TVM screens before purchase to see which cards are in stock. Not all stations have each design and Customer Centers have a very limited supply of each design.

Cards are $2 plus the cost of fare. Available while supplies last.
