LinkedIn on Wednesday announced new AI features to help users improve their professional profiles and companies write better job descriptions.

Personalised writing suggestions powered by AI will help users craft better About and Headline sections on their profiles to help them stand out. The tool will identify the most important skills and experiences to highlight in those sections, whilst maintaining your voice and style. This feature has already begun testing for Premium subscribers and will be rolled out for all Premium subscribers over the next few months.

Then there’s another AI-powered writing tool that will make it easier for companies to write job descriptions. All users will need to do is provide some basic information including job title and company name. The tool will then generate a job description for them to review and edit, saving time.

LinkedIn is also launching over 100 AI courses that will be available for all LinkedIn members for free until June 15, 2023. These will be geared toward all kinds of people, whether you are a “seasoned professional or a business leader looking to stay on top of the latest advancements.” The company promises that its courses are designed to help you “learn new skills that can boost your productivity and accelerate your career growth.”

The announcement comes a week after LinkedIn launched Collaborative Articles, an AI feature that allows users to create more content based on conversation starters.
