After spending some more time stress-testing Manus AI, the viral artificial intelligence agent from a little-known Chinese startup, it’s clear that it’s not quite ready for primetime.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still wowed by some of its capabilities. It built a Tetris-like game on command that was very engaging. The low-key bar it recommended in a touristy part of Tokyo was exactly what I was looking for. But as I’ve written before, there were glitches and crashes. While it was great at some things, it struggled to complete some tasks on its own, like booking dinner reservations and online shopping.
