Manus AI and Heicoders Academy have launched a hands-on upskilling course on AI agent technology for working professionals in Singapore.
The new programme, GA100 Generative AI Course for Automation and Productivity, focuses on enabling learners to move beyond basic AI prompts to designing, building, and deploying functional autonomous AI agents for workplace use. This course signifies the first such specialist training available in Singapore, reflecting efforts to accelerate AI readiness across the country.
The partnership integrates Manus AI’s proprietary agent platform into the curriculum at Heicoders Academy, ensuring that graduates complete the programme with both theoretical understanding and a portfolio of applied AI projects. The curriculum prioritises real-world implementation, equipping learners to address business challenges through agentic AI systems capable of planning, acting, and reflecting in dynamic scenarios.
Course structure
GA100 spans six weeks and includes 24 hours of live, practitioner-led lessons. The course incorporates guided labs as well as mentorship from experienced AI engineers. Each step enables participants to design, test, and deploy AI agents that automate tasks in areas such as research, operations, customer service, and data analysis.
The educational approach centres on the agentic loop of plan, act, and reflect, acquainting students with how decision-making systems operate, process feedback, and orchestrate the use of multiple tools in real time. The portfolio projects produced by learners are required to demonstrate measurable business benefits.
Target participants and examples
This programme is tailored for mid-career professionals between the ages of 25 and 45, a group considered particularly exposed to technological changes in the modern workforce. Participants receive complimentary access to a Manus AI sandbox, take part in live co-creation and knowledge-exchange sessions, and complete practical projects based on real business cases.
One highlighted example is a Singapore property investment dashboard leveraging optical character recognition, geospatial analysis, and interactive dashboard tools. Other applications referenced include retail site selection using footfall data and points of interest, logistics routing heatmaps, school catchment analysis, tourism planning, urban mobility mapping, and sales territory optimisation.
Certification and financial support
Learners who complete the course will receive a Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Certificate, which is nationally recognised in Singapore as validation of generative AI capabilities. Funding support is available via SkillsFuture Credits for eligible Singapore citizens aged 25 and above, with further financial aid accessible through schemes such as NTUC’s Union Training Assistance Programmeme, the Post-Secondary Education Account, the Enterprise Innovation Scheme, and the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit. Prospective applicants are advised to refer to individual scheme administrators for details on eligibility and claims procedures.
Industry perspectives
“Agentic AI is moving beyond hype into real-world adoption,” said Beh Min Yan, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Heicoders Academy. “GA100 is designed for practitioners – learners don’t just learn about AI agents; they build and apply them to solve real business challenges.”
“We are excited to support Heicoders in equipping Singapore’s workforce with production-grade agent skills,” said Zhang Tao, Co-Founder at Manus AI. “By putting Manus AI directly in the classroom, professionals get hands-on with the planning, acting, and orchestration patterns that matter in real environments.”
Strategic implications
The partnership between Manus AI and Heicoders Academy aims to cultivate practical AI competencies across Singapore’s workforce and reinforce the nation’s standing as a regional centre for agentic AI advancement. Manus AI, which is supported by Benchmark and valued at USD $500 million, established its global headquarters in Singapore in July 2025, four months after its international launch.
As Manus AI’s exclusive educational partner in Singapore, Heicoders Academy will deliver practitioner-led training designed to transfer agentic AI skills directly into the hands of working professionals and businesses. This collaboration sets a precedent for the deployment of applied AI education and the development of measurable skills within the technology ecosystem in Singapore.
