Lucid Motors Hits Tesla Where It Hurts

“Opening our first Studio in Arizona, just one hour from where the Lucid Air will begin rolling off the assembly line in Casa Grande this year, is a special milestone,” said Zak Edson, Senior Director of Retail Operations. “This opening reinforces the company’s commitment to the region, and is in direct response to the warm welcome and the high level of interest shown for both our manufacturing operations and the products we are bringing to market.”

The 1,080 horsepower Lucid Air is aimed directly at the Tesla Model S and the Mercedes EQS, to name a few. It also has an impressive EPA-estimated 517-mile range on a single charge. Pricing begins at $87,500 after the $7,500 tax credit. This new Arizona studio is one of 19 planned to open this year throughout North America.
