Don’t expect any fun banter from Taylor Lewan on Twitter for a while.
The Tennessee Titans left tackle announced Monday night that he’ll be off social media for the 2022 season.
“I’ve seriously enjoyed treating these apps as if they were group chats, but it’s always good to have a detox,” Lewan tweeted. “Big hugs, tiny kisses.”

One of the Titans’ most colorful personalities, Lewan has long maintained an active social media presence, using it to engage with fans and promote his “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, which he co-hosts with former Titans linebacker Will Compton.
Lewan, 31, is entering his ninth NFL season, all with the Titans. He’s started 98 of 103 games with Tennessee.
The three-time Pro Bowler enters a critical season in Nashville. He’s played just 18 games the last two seasons combined and has no guaranteed money left on his contract, which runs through 2023.
