Drone footage released by a Ukrainian official on Friday showed the destroyed Donetsk region town of Marinka. The deserted town, on the front line of fighting between Ukrainian and Russian forces, highlights the brutality of the conflict. Reuters was able to confirm the location from the landscape, roads and buildings seen in the video, which matched satellite and file imagery of the area. Reuters was not able to independently confirm the date the video was filmed.
