BenQ, a company known for making monitors recently launched two new webcams – Ideacam S1 Pro and Ideacam S1 Plus aimed at professionals looking for high-quality video conferencing solutions. These webcams support multiple shooting modes and are powered by an 8MP Sony CMOS sensor.

The Ideacam S1 series offers a resolution of up to 3264x2448p and has a 15X macro lens that can zoom in and offer detailed shots of any surface or material. In low light conditions, these webcams can make use of integrated ring lights to brighten up the room.

Unlike static webcams, the Ideacam S1 series supports three shooting modes. While the portrait mode shows the image of the person in front, the desk view mode can be helpful if you want to show something on your desk. In case you are a creative professional who needs to draw something or show what you are hands, the handheld mode can come in handy. The Ideacam also comes with an intelligent auto flip for desk view mode, which ensures a quick transition from portrait to desk view mode.

It comes with two omnidirectional microphones with noise-cancelling so users can even attend meetings and be heard when it gets noisy. BenQ is also offering a control puck with the Ideacam S1 Pro with resize, refocus and mute buttons. Ideacam S1 series is backed by BenQ’s Enspire software which offers features like image freezing, live annotations, zoom, and the ability to share screens or windows. BenQ Ideacam S1 Pro and Ideacam S1 Plus are available for purchase on the company’s website and on Amazon for Rs 19,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively.
