Ibotta bolsters influencer marketing capability – Chain Store Age

Ibotta is partnering with a digital promotion platform to enhance its campaigns with social influencer content.

The mobile provider of rewards and payments has reached an agreement with Inmar Intelligence that will combine Inmar’s digital promotion platform with Ibotta’s performance-based promotional content. This makes Ibotta the first content technology platform accelerator in Inmar’s innovator ecosystem.  

Through this joint agreement, Ibotta extends cashback offer capabilities to Inmar’s retailer network and platform. In addition, Inmar becomes the exclusive provider for social influence services in Ibotta campaigns, tapping into its portfolio of influencer products and vetted influencer community. 

This agreement also gives Ibotta clients access to Inmar’s influencer marketing services, including verified views of content and engagements upfront, customized guidelines and guardrails, and third-party verified metrics.

Inmar will continue to directly manage cash back content for regulated products including those in the adult beverage category. The companies will continue to invest in new technology to alleviate offers running concurrently.
