Tigers fight for territory in thrilling viral video. Hair-raising roar has Internet stunned – India Today

Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan took to Twitter today to share a thrilling video of a territorial fight between two tigers from Central India.

He shared the hair-raising clip on his Twitter account and also revealed that Project Tiger, a conservation programme launched in April 1973 by the Government of India, completed 47 years today.

He posted the two-minute long clip with the caption, “Territorial fight between two full grown #tigers. Listen with headphones. Powerful roar and its echo from Indian #forests. Via WA. Today project tiger has completed 47 years in #India.”

In the clip, the two tigers fight aggressively as tourists watch them from a distance. One can also hear the loud roar of both the male tigers in the video, which Kaswan received on WhatsApp, as they fight to claim the territory.

In the thread, Kaswan revealed that during such territorial fights there is also a good chance of death of the tigers.

After the video was shared on Twitter, it quickly garnered around 19.7k views and 1.7k likes. Netizens took to the comments section to share their views. One user wrote, “Some people just get so lucky to capture such a rare sight. Amazing.”
