Social media’s top reactions to UF landing OT David Conner




The Florida Gators landed their second commitment in as many days when Deerfield Beach (Fla) three-star offensive tackle David Conner committed to UF. The South Florida defender picked the Gators over finalists Maryland and Arizona. He was offered by the Gators in early August and committed to the staff silently the same day. The Gators 2022 class now ranks No. 18 in the country according to 247Sports team recruiting rankings.


With Conner now in the fold, the Gators commitment list currently sits at 13 members. With the newly minted commitment of Conner, the Gators 2022 class consists of Houston (TX) Clear Lake four-star cornerback Julian Humphrey, Mobile (AL) Faith Academy four-star linebacker Shemar James, Winter Park (Fla.) four-star running back Terrance Gibbs, Tampa (Fla.) King four-star offensive tackle Tony Livingston, Flower Mound (TX) four-star quarterback Nick Evers, Bufford (GA) four-star wide receiver Isaiah Bond, Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore three-star wide receiver Chandler Smith, Miami (Fla.) Edison three-star defensive end Francois Nolton, Fitzgerald (GA) three-star linebacker EJ Lightsey, and Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep three-star tight end CJ Hawkins, Ocala (Fla.) Forrest three-star athlete Jamarrien Burt, and Severna Park (MD) kicker Trey Smack.


The 247Sports Composite, an industry generated average, currently ranks Conner as the Nation’s No. 1064 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class and No. 109 offensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting class.
